Musicianship

Choral Singing

Over the past few years, I have been part of Ohio University Singers, The Singing Men of Ohio, Choral Union, and Class Voice. I have gone on a tour with both University Singers and Singing Men of Ohio. These ensembles have given me amazing experiences and the ability to learn new music, perform, and grow as a musician.

Solo Singing

Over the past three years, I have studied as a baritone under Dr. Daniel Stein at Ohio University. Through this I have learned more about my own technique of the voice, how to critique and advise other vocalists, and have had the opportunity to perform for my semester juries, Voice Division Recitals, Performance Labs, and even my first Masterclass with Dr. Scott LaGraff. Here are some examples of my performances.

Conducting

II have had the opportunity to study conducting with both Dr. Dominique Petite and Dr. Bradley Naylor. I have been instructed both with and without a baton of a vast variety of vocal music.

I had the opportunity to teach and conduct the Ohio University Singers "Soon Ah Will Be Done" by William Dawson.

Guitar

I have been playing guitar since 2012. I have been mostly self taught, but also taken Class Folk Guitar taught by John Horne at Ohio University. I have played in various bands, an orchestra pit, and spent lots of time and focus with the guitar. I currently play guitar in a band called "Valley Sphinx"
