About
Devin Blair is an undergraduate student at Ohio University studying Music Education: Choral Emphasis as a tenor under Dr. Daniel Stein. Devin also is a member of the Ohio University Singers, as well as The Singing Men of Ohio, both directed by Dr. Bradley Naylor. Devin also is a pianist and vocalist for his home church, First Christian Church of Barnesville, Ohio.
Devin is also involved in many organizations on campus. He is currently the Vice President of the Ohio University Singers. He has been on the executive board for The Singing Men of Ohio in the role of Historian from 2020-2021 and Publicity Manger from 2021-2022. Devin is also the Vice President of the Ohio University Chapter of the American Choral Director's Association. Devin has also been a three year member in the National Association for Music Education ch231.
Before coming to Athens, Devin was also involved in theatre at Ohio University Eastern directed by Mr. Dennis Fox and Barnesville High School. He was in productions such as The Marriage of Bette and Boo (2019), Prodigal Son (2018) , Beauty and the Beast (2018), and The Sound of Music (2017). He also has done production and set design, as well as sound technology for many productions.
Outside of college, Devin has been the assistant music director for Barnesville's production of Shrek (2021), and also played guitar in the orchestra pit. He has also been a percussion instructor at Barnesville's 2021 Band Camp. He is currently a pianist/vocalist at The First Christian Church of Barnesville in the group "Two or More." He is also currently the guitarist/vocalist in the band "Valley Sphinx."
